PM Dahal emphasizes economic reform for nation building in New Year message

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has emphasized the significant responsibility of the government in 2081 BS to establish a robust foundation for the development of the nation through economic reforms.

Delivering his New Year message for 2081 BS today, PM Dahal highlighted the importance of fostering a culture of cooperation and consensus to ensure stability, along with prioritizing smooth public service delivery enhanced by technological advancements.

PM Dahal expressed confidence that the government’s concerted efforts in these areas would ignite new hope and bring about happiness among the populace.

He reiterated that the collective aspiration of all Nepalis is to usher in prosperity and elevate the nation’s standing on the global stage.

“I extend my heartfelt best wishes to all Nepalis, hoping that the New Year 2081 BS will set a historic benchmark for achievement and prosperity by promoting unity, mutual assistance, intimacy, and a sense of harmony,” stated PM Dahal in his message.

Reflecting on the accomplishments of the past year, PM Dahal recalled the government’s initiatives towards the implementation of federalism, promotion of good governance, economic recovery, direct resolution of people’s grievances, and improvements in international relations and diplomacy as significant milestones of 2080 BS.

PM Dahal concluded his message by extending wishes for peace, prosperity, happiness, and good health to all Nepalis residing within the country and abroad on this auspicious occasion.
