Nepali woman killed in accident in America



KATHMANDU: A Nepali woman lost her life in a fatal car accident in America.

Parbati Regmi Poudel, residing in Herndon, Virginia with her family, succumbed to injuries sustained in a two-vehicle collision in Maryland, as confirmed by her family sources.

The 46-year-old Poudel, alongside her husband Sandeep Paudel, son Shishir, and daughter Shivani, had been residing in the USA.

The family’s journey was abruptly halted during a trip from Washington DC to New York when the accident occurred.

The accident left four others injured, including relatives of Poudel, who were also traveling with them.

Despite efforts, Poudel couldn’t overcome her injuries and passed away during medical treatment, leaving behind a community mourning her untimely demise.
