Nepal chooses to field first against Netherlands in Tri-nations T20I series



KATHMANDU: Nepal, having won the toss, has elected to bowl first against the Netherlands in the second match of the tri-nations T20I series.

The highly anticipated match is scheduled to commence at 11:30 am local time at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground.

In the inaugural match of the series held on Tuesday, Nepal faced a setback, suffering a 20-run defeat against Namibia.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands enters the series with today’s match being their first encounter, adding an element of excitement to the proceedings.

In terms of ICC T20 rankings among the participating nations, Namibia currently holds the top position, securing the 11th spot. The Netherlands closely follows at 15th place, with Nepal occupying the 16th spot in the rankings.
