T20I Series: Namibia sets a target of 207 runs against Nepal

KATHMANDU: In a match played at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Namibia has set a target of 207 runs against the home team, Nepal, in the triangular T20I series.

Namibia’s batting prowess was on full display as they reached a total of 106 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

The dynamic partnership between Nicole Lofty-Eaton and Malan Kruger, amassing 135 runs for the fourth wicket, laid the foundation for the substantial target they presented to Nepal.

Lofty-Eton, the standout performer of the innings, played a scintillating knock, scoring 101 runs.

His incredible innings included 11 fours and 8 sixes in just 36 balls.

However, his explosive innings came to an end in the last over when Abinash Bohora, fielding under the delivery of Gulsan Jha, secured a crucial catch.

Nicole achieved his century in a mere 35 balls, matching his boundary count with 11 fours and 8 sixes.

Namibia’s target of 207 runs has set the stage for an enthralling chase as Nepal prepares to respond in the T20I series.
