Nepal posts 44 runs for one wicket in first powerplay against Netherlands



KATHMANDU: Nepal kicked off their ICC CWC League 2 encounter against the Netherlands by notching up 44 runs for the loss of one wicket during the initial powerplay.

The Netherlands, having won the toss, elected to bowl first.

Aasif Sheikh was caught out after scoring 17 runs within the powerplay period.

Presently, Kushal Bhurtel and Anil Shah are at the crease, contributing 23 and one run respectively for Nepal.
