KATHMANDU: In the ICC Cricket League-2, Namibia secured its first victory against the Netherlands.
Having lost the toss and batting first, Namibia managed to score 203 runs in 41.3 overs, losing all wickets.
The Netherlands, chasing a target of 204 runs, faced strong resistance from Namibia’s bowlers and fell short, scoring only 179 runs in 43.5 overs, losing all wickets.
With this win, Namibia has taken the lead in the points table of the ICC Cricket League-2, securing the top position in the first series. Namibia had previously won two matches against Nepal in the series, while Netherlands faced defeat in their first game against Namibia.
Both Nepal and the Netherlands are set to play their final match in the series after this encounter.
