KATHMANDU: In the pivotal match of the three-day ODI series, Canada XI, after winning the toss, has opted to bowl first against Nepal A.

This encounter marks the culmination of the ODI series between the two nations, with both teams eager to secure victory. The match is slated to commence at 9:30 AM at the Mulpani International Cricket Ground.

Nepal A has made significant changes to its lineup for today’s crucial fixture.

Bibek, Kiran, Mayan, and Rijan have been rested, paving the way for Ashutosh, Pratis, Hemant, and Sujan to make their appearance in the team.

With one victory each in the previous two matches, Nepal A and Canada XI are locked in a fierce battle for series supremacy.

While Nepal A stumbled in the series opener, they displayed remarkable resilience to bounce back strongly in the subsequent match.

Notably, this series marks the debut of the Nepal A team in Nepali cricket history, a significant milestone orchestrated by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN).

For Canada XI, their presence in Nepal serves as valuable preparation for the upcoming ICC CWC League 2 games in the United Arab Emirates, where they are scheduled to face Scotland and UAE starting from February 28.
