KATHMANDU: Nepal ‘A’ cricket team is gearing up for the second match of the series against Canada today.
After suffering a four-wicket defeat in the series opener against Canada on Sunday (February 8), Nepal ‘A’ is determined to secure its first win in the ongoing three-match series.
The second match is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday morning at 9:15 AM at Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu, with the series finale set for Thursday (February 22).
Leading the Nepal ‘A’ team is captain Binod Bhandari.
Gyanendra Malla and Kamal Ali are at the coaching helm for Nepal ‘A,’ guiding a squad composed of players who have showcased their skills in both the Prime Minister’s Cup cricket and the U-19 World Cup.
With the national team’s busy schedule, Canada has designated Nepal ‘A’ as its backup.
In the initial encounter at Mulpani Cricket Ground, Canada secured a 4-wicket victory over Nepal.
