Westerly winds impacting Nepal’s weather



KATHMANDU: Nepal is experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

The weather is predominantly clear across the country with some areas in the hills witnessing partly cloudy skies.

In the afternoon, the weather is likely to be mainly clear in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.

During the night, the weather will predominantly be clear in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while other provinces may experience partial cloud cover.

There is a likelihood of light rain at a few locations in the Koshi Province today.

The Division has issued a cautionary note, indicating the possibility of light snowfall in select highlands and Himalayan areas of Koshi Province.
