KMC mobilizes bulldozer to reclaim public land in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has to use the bulldozer to clear the encroached land in Kathmandu once again.

On Sunday, the Kathmandu Metropolitan City initiated a bulldozer operation to clear encroachments on public land in Aloknagar, Kathmandu.

Dinesh Aryal from the KMC police reported that the operation targeted structures built on public land in the Kathmandu-31 Aloknagar area, some without the required approvals.

“Today, 14 huts have been bulldozed there,” he stated, indicating that the metropolitan city envisions establishing a sports park in the newly cleared space.
