NC General Secy Gagan Thapa launching dialogue tour from Jhapa on Saturday

JHAPA: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary, Gagan Thapa, is set to kick off a dialogue tour from Jhapa on Saturday.

The commencement of the tour is scheduled at Mechi Bhansar, at 8 am.

Accompanying him on the tour in Jhapa will be General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma and former General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula.

Thapa’s primary objective during the dialogue tour is to connect with party cadres and actively listen to their grievances and suggestions. In a departure from formal speeches, Thapa is committed to making the program more people-centric by prioritizing direct interactions with the public.

This dialogue tour aligns with the broader NC in the Community campaign, as decided by the NC Central Committee, scheduled to run from January 26 to February 9.

During the tour, General Secretary Thapa plans to conduct dialogue sessions in various locations in Jhapa Chowk from 9:30 to 10 am. It’s noteworthy that the dialogue tour is not limited to engaging with Congress members; rather, it is designed to foster connections with the general public, a point emphasized by Thapa’s Secretariat.

The scheduled programs for the dialogue tour cover regions such as Jhapa, Morang, Sunsari, Saptari, Siraha, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa, Chitwan, Nawalpur, Nawalparasi, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Dang, Bardiya, Kailali, and Kanchanpur. The tour is set to conclude on February 9.
