Two people died in a mini truck accident



TANAHUN: Two people died in an accident involving a mini truck on the inner road section of Devghat Rural Municipality-2 Kotbaidi Bhokteni in Tanahun district.

According to District Police Office Tanahun, two people were killed when a mini truck number Ga 1 Ka 4181, which was going from Damauli to Chhiphope, fell about 500 meters from the road last night.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Mohan Bahadur Khand said that 65-year-old Nar Bahadur Gurung and 45-year-old Bimaya Gurung of Devghat-3 Dagara were among the deceased.

According to the police, both the injured persons were taken to Damauli Hospital for treatment and the doctors declared them dead this morning.

The police said that the truck driver is absconding.
