Foreign Minister Khanal briefs House on Nepal’s participation in UN General Assembly



KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal briefed today’s meeting of the House of Representatives on Nepal’s participation in the 81st United Nations General Assembly.

Khanal said Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s address during the General Debate at the General Assembly had helped advance Nepal’s efforts to turn the issue of climate justice into reality.

He also informed the House that, during Nepal’s participation in the General Assembly, the country held meetings and discussions with senior officials and foreign counterparts from various countries and participated in several sessions.
