KATHMANDU: The Weather Forecasting Division has reported the absence of any significant weather systems currently affecting the country.
Presently, dense mist and fog are prevalent across the Terai regions of Koshi and Sudurpaschim provinces, extending into the majority of Madhesh and Lumbini provinces.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain predominantly clear in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, with other areas experiencing partial cloud cover.
Additionally, during the night, clear conditions are anticipated in Karnali and Sudurpaschim, along with the hilly terrains of Gandaki and Koshi provinces, as stated by the Division.
The Division has urged caution to mitigate the impact of the widespread mist and fog in the Terai region.
This weather phenomenon poses potential disruptions to daily life, health, and transportation, including air services, it said.
