RSP cadre suspended for social media publicity of ‘Gaushala 26’ in Sandeep Lamichhane rape case



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken disciplinary action against one of its cadres, Divash Sapkota, for allegedly publicizing ‘Gaushala 26’ on social media in connection with the rape case involving cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane.

Sapkota, who posted three photos on Facebook claiming that they were of the rape victim in the Sandeep Lamichhane case, has been suspended by the party.

In a statement released on Facebook, the party expressed concern over Sapkota’s lack of sensitivity in using social media and deemed it inappropriate to share such content.
