Madhav Nepal accuses UML of attempts to undermine Unified Socialist party in NA elections

KATHMANDU: Madhav Kumar Nepal, Chairman of the CPN-Unified Socialist party, has accused KP Oli, Chairman of the CPN-UML, of aiming to sideline the Unified Socialist party in the upcoming National Assembly elections.

Speaking at a program organized by the Unified Socialist close sister organization in Kathmandu, Chairman Nepal alleged that the UML’s objective is to undermine their party by reducing their representation to zero in the National Assembly.

Highlighting former Prime Minister Oli’s demand for six seats for the UML in discussions with Prime Minister and ruling coalition leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Nepal asserted that the UML’s agenda seems to be eliminating the existence of the Unified Socialist party.

Emphasizing the pivotal role of Prime Minister Dahal in governance, Nepal suggested that prioritizing reforms based on constructive suggestions is crucial for progress and advancement.
