KATHMANDU: The Hult Prize Family at Shanker Dev Campus (SDC) has recently garnered acclaim for its significant achievements in the contribution towards the society where its innovative project, “Nourish the Need,” under initiative “Project Deego” aligned seamlessly with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) No. 2: Zero Hunger.
The project has not only made a substantial impact on the local community but has also showcased the campus’s commitment to addressing pressing global challenges.
Under the overarching initiative “Project Deego,” the Hult Prize at SDC successfully orchestrated the donation of food to 68 undernourished individuals at Manab Kalyan Samaj (Human Welfare Society) in Pashupati.
This achievement is a testament to the dedication and collaborative efforts of all organizing members involved in the project.
The campus community rallied together under the guidance of Campus Director Pooja Sharma, whose leadership played a pivotal role in steering the project towards success.
The core objective of “Nourish the Need” was to contribute towards achieving SDG No. 2: Zero Hunger.
By actively engaging with the community and addressing the immediate needs of those facing food insecurity, team has demonstrated its commitment to being a socially responsible institution.
The donation of food to Manab Kalyan Samaj not only alleviates hunger for 68 individuals but also serves as a tangible example of how youth can make a positive impact on their surrounding communities.
