Parliamentary committee appeals to international communities for urgent release of Bipin Joshi

KATHMANDU: The Foreign Relations and Tourism Committee, operating under the House of Representatives (HoR), has decided to appeal to Hamas and other international community for a swift action for the release of Bipin Joshi.

Joshi is among the Nepali students who were taken captive during the October 7 attack orchestrated by the Hamas military group in southern Israel.

During a Thursday meeting, the committee decided to reach out to international entities, seeking their support and collaboration in securing the release of Bipin Joshi. The situation has become increasingly critical as, to date, there has been no information on Joshi’s whereabouts for the past 52 days.

Tragically, this attack has already claimed the lives of ten Nepali students.
