Deliberations in Australia regarding potential new political party in Nepal, Dangol and Ghale to attend the event

KATHMANDU: Nepali nationals in Australia have initiated discussions about establishing a new political party in Nepal, emphasizing the forthcoming elections of 2084 BS.

An interaction session is set to take place in Melbourne this Saturday to deliberate on this matter. Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) , Sunita Dangol, and Shesh Ghale, former President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), are expected to attend the event.

Deputy Mayor Dangol, currently in Australia, will engage in a two-hour discussion with the Nepali community in Melbourne on Saturday. The discussion will encompass Nepal’s political landscape, the contributions of Nepali expatriates in Australia toward Nepal’s development, and other pertinent agendas.

Several Nepali youths in Australia informed Khabarhub about plans to form a new political party targeting the upcoming elections. Speculations suggest that the current Mayor of KMC, Balendra Shah, Dangol, and Ghale might align with this new party. Sources indicate that groundwork for this initiative is in progress.
