Three poachers land in police net

BARDIYA: Three people have landed in a police net for their involvement in poaching.

The arrested are Shyam Lal Tharu of Barbardiya Municipality-10, Lamkifanta, Sitaram Tharu,54,  and Ramfal Tharu, 50, of Barbardiya Municipality-7, Haranhawa.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint team of Nepali Police, Armed Police Force and Bardiya National Park arrested the trio with a deer’s hide, 12 kg meat and a one-feet-long khukuri concealed in Shyam Lal Tharu’s grocery shop.
