Medical Education Act on amendment process: Minister Basnet



KATHMANDU: Minister for Health Mohan Bahadur Basnet said the Medical Education Act was in the amendment process.

Minister Basnet said the amendment would be taken ahead to resolve the problems faced by the medical education sector.

“The Medical Education Act will be amended. The prime minister and party leaders have taken it positively. The amendment process has already gained momentum”, he said at a program.

A strong policy has been adopted to end anomalies in the health sector, the minister claimed.

He reiterated his commitment to bring reforms in the health sector.
