Govt. urges against individual or party visits to Israel

KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister NP Saud has called for refraining from personal or party visits to Israel unless they are based on an official decision at the political level.

He made this plea while briefing the Parliament’s International Relations and Tourism Committee about the recent attack on Israel and the condition of Nepali citizens there.

Minister Saud emphasized the delicate nature of Israel’s current situation following the attack by the Hamas group and stressed the importance of avoiding political exploitation of the situation.

He remarked, “The situation is sensitive. Therefore, apart from official political decisions, I request that visits to Israel on personal or party grounds be avoided. Let us refrain from politicizing this critical situation.”
