President Bhandari condoles flood, landslide victims



KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in floods and landslides that so far has killed 60 across the country.

Similarly, she has expressed sorrow over a huge loss of lives and property at different places of the country due to floods, landslides and inundation following incessant rainfall.

President Bhandari expressed the belief that the bodies concerned would pay attention to mobilize state’s mechanism in rescuing, treating and reaching relief to the victims.
She also called all political parties, social organizations and communities to join their hands for reaching reliefs and rescue.
The President also drew the attention of all to adopt alertness to be safe from such type of natural disasters in future, reads a press release issued on Sunday by Spokesperson at the Office of the President, Chhabindra Parajuli.
