Two people die in Salyan jeep accident, 15 injured



SALYAN: Two people have died in a jeep accident in Salyan, with more than 15 passengers sustaining injuries.

According to the police, the accident occurred in Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality-5 Tirthapole last night, resulting in the demise of 75-year-old Dhruvi Bohara from Sharda Municipality-12 Timile and 45-year-old Muna Sejwal from Sharda-15 Barla.

Gopal Shrestha, the Information Officer of District Police Office Salyan, said that the jeep, traveling from Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality-5 Lekhpokhara to Sharada Municipality-12 Kagkhola, veered off the road and plunged approximately 60 meters.

Several of the injured individuals are in critical condition.
