17 students demonstrating in front of Singha Durbar arrested

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 17 students associated with a student organization of the Revolutionary Nepal Communist Party (Revolutionary-NCP) led by Mohan Baidya, in front of Singha Durbar.

They were demonstrating in front of Singha Durbar, the federal government secretariat complex, this afternoon against the School Education Bill, said Spokesperson at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, Kumodh Dhungel.

The arrested ones including coordinator Milan Rai has now been taken to Singha Durbar Circle.
