Gautam and Kandel feted with Jaycees Year Honor

BAGLUNG: The Baglung Jaycees has feted two individuals for their exceptional contribution and achievement in the education and technology field.

Pratikshya Gautam, a student at the Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus, and Tek Narayan Kandel, an IT professional, have been honored this year.

Gautam scored a 4 GPA in the seventh semester in the BBA from the Dhawalagiri Multiple College under the Tribhuvan University (TU) and became the first female student to score a 4 GPA among all the TU-affiliated campuses across the country.

Similarly, Kandel is currently engaged in the expansion of the internet and CCTV network in rural areas of Baglung, shared Anjila Shakya, Jaycees Baglung’s General Secretary.

Baglung Municipality mayor Basanta Kumar Shrestha honored Gautam and Kandel with a shawl.

Jaycees Baglung has been annually honoring youths within 18 to 40 years for their outstanding contribution in various sectors.
