Two injured as Yeti Airlines aircraft skids off runway

KATHMANDU: Two people suffered injuries after an Yeti Airlines aircraft has met with an accident while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

An ATR-72 aircraft coming from Nepalgunj skidded off the runway leaving two people injured, informed Pratap Babu Tiwari, spokesperson of the TIA.

The other passengers were rescued safely, said he. The scheduled flights have been disrupted following the accident.
