One youth killed in Saptari, another injured

JANAKPURDHAM: A tragic incident in Saptari has resulted in the death of a youth and left another injured.

Saptari Police Spokesperson Naresh Kumar Singh said that the lifeless body of 21-year-old Tirka Narayan Mandal, a resident of Hanumannagar Kankalini Municipality 10 Inarwa, Saptari, was discovered near his house, while another youth named Ajay Mandal was found injured.

The circumstances surrounding the scene suggest that the youth’s death might be the result of a murder.

However, the exact time of the incident has not been ascertained yet, as per the police statement.

Local residents notified the police after coming across the deceased body around 6 o’clock this morning.

The authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter to uncover the truth behind this tragic event.
