PM Dahal’s India visit had many protocol lapses: Oli
CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has commented that Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s India visit did not meet the protocol. Speaking at the House of Representatives on Monday, UML Chair Oli said that there had been many protocol lapses during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to India. Oli also objected to PM Dahal’s said remarks about the Kalapani dispute and trade route to Bangladesh.
I have clearly communicated to the Indian side on border issue: PM
Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda today reiterated his stance saying that he has clearly communicated to the Indian side regarding the resolution of the border issue. “I believe this marks the first occasion where a Nepali Prime Minister has raised the issue with the Indian side in such a gravity,” PM Dahal said while addressing a meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) on Monday.

Buddha Air pilot faces action for capturing photos/videos during flight
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has taken action against a Buddha Air pilot who was found taking photos and videos inside an aircraft during flight. The CAAN stated that appropriate measures have been implemented following the pilot’s reckless behavior of capturing photos and videos of the aircraft while it was in operation, thereby endangering air safety.
Industry Minister Rijal urges Italy to increase investment in Nepal
Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Ramesh Rijal, has urged the government of Italy to increase investment in Nepal in the areas capable of yielding high results. During his meeting with Italy’s non-resident ambassador to Nepal, Vincenzo De Luca, the Minister urged the EU member nation to scale up its investment in Nepal’s information technology, infrastructure development, service, hydropower and agricultural sectors.

NEPSE declines by 17 points, turnover of around Rs two billion
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) which witnessed a double digit growth on Sudnay saw a decline by 17 points on Monday. NEPSE dropped by 17.38 points and closed at 1901.99 points on Monday. While the manufacturing sub-index declined the most by 2.46 percent, the trade sub-index declined by 1.67 percent and other sub-index by 1.51 percent.
HoR witnesses frequent interruptions in rostrum during Prime Minister’s answer session
