KATHMANDU: The Cabinet has passed the budget for the financial year 2023/24.

The cabinet meeting held at Singhdurbar on Monday passed the budget.

Finance Minister Prakasharan Mahat will present the budget for the new financial year in the joint meeting of the Federal Parliament today.

There is a constitutional provision that the budget for the new financial year must be submitted to the Parliament on Jestha 15th (May 29).
