Nepal sees 14 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 53



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 14 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, nine were detected through the RT-PCR method and five through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 854 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 384 were tested through RT-PCR method and 470 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 53 active cases in the country as 14 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
