Nepal sees 24 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 88



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 24 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Thursday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 14 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 10 through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,839 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 761 were tested through RT-PCR method and 1,078 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 88 active cases in the country as 15 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
