Nepal sees 10 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 120



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 10 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Sunday.

Out of the confirmed cases, six were detected through the RT-PCR method and four through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 844 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 223 were tested through RT-PCR method and 621 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 120 active cases in the country as 12 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
