RPP Chairman Lingden asks PM Dahal to prove his guts by investigating all major corruption cases

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has asked Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda to open files of “major corruption” scandals.

Speaking at a program in Kathmandu on Sunday, Lingden asked PM Dahal to open the cases of widebody corruption, Maoist cantonments, etc.

“Some people have been engaged in the business of making fake refugees and sending them abroad for quite a long time. Some have been arrested,” he said.

He also asked the government to further investigate into the issue and bring all those involved in corruption to book.

“All cases such as the wide body scandal, Lalita Niwas, Ncell scandal should be investigated,” he demanded.

“If PM Dahal has taken this step forward with good intentions and there is no political interest in it, RPP will support this move it,” he said, adding, “Let me also assure you that RPP is ready to support Prachanda as long as he stays in the government if he opened the files of previous corruption cases.”
