One dies after slipping from the Rupse waterfalls



POKHARA: One person died today after slipping while observing the Rupse waterfall in Annapurna rural municipality-3.

The deceased has been identified as Basant Bhandari,56, of Budhanilkanth Municipality-1, Kathmandu, according to the District Police Office, police inspector Kiran Lama.

Bhandari suffered serious head injuries after slipping and falling down 30 meters was declared dead upon reaching at Beni Hospital.

The waterfalls is one of the major attraction for travelers on the Beni-Jomsom road.
