Nepal sees 91 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 220



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 91 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Wednesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 27 cases were detected through the RT-PCR method and 64 through RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 2,532 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

336 samples were tested through RT-PCR method and 2,196 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 220 active cases in the country as 59 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,030 to date.
