NC leader Chandra Bhandari returning home after treatment



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Chandra Bhandari is returning home today.

According to his secretariat, Bhandari, who is being treated at the National Burn Hospital in Mumbai, India, will return to the country on a regular Mumbai-Kathmandu flight of Nepal Airlines on Sunday.

The health of leader Bhandari is gradually improving, he will do the rest of the treatment in Nepal itself, the Secretariat said.

Bhandari, who is also a member of the House of Representatives, went to India on the advice of doctors after initial treatment at home on February 3. Bhandari was injured due to a gas leakage.
