Rubi Valley should be developed as a touristic site: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that the economic status of Dhading district would be robust if more attention were paid to the development and promotion of tourist sites including the Rubi Valley.

Chairman Oli was addressing the party’s assembly and cultural program in Rubi Valley of Dhading district on Sunday as part of the UML’s grassroots mission.

Saying that this was his first visit to the Rubi Valley, Chairman Oli described the characteristics of the precious stones found in the valley adding that he has collected those stuff.

Oli was of the view that he would take necessary efforts for the allocation of the required budget to develop this site, which owns priceless stones and minerals.

The former Prime Minister also stated that the road from Dhadingbensi to Rubi Valley would be upgraded to two-lane with top priority.

Similarly, he called for developing a road network up to Pangsang Pass, the most popular tourist site in the valley, and committed his continuous efforts to the same.

Likewise, he promised to take efforts to provide entry passes to the residents of the valley for their travel and business in Kerung of China’s Tibet.
