DHANGADHI: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said he has resolution to take the Sudurpaschim to a new development phase.

Addressing the Third Convocation Ceremony of the Far Western University here today, PM Dahal sought everyone’s cooperation in this new phase of development. He stressed on the need of producing skilled human resources for charting the course of action for social transformation.

“The University’s education should be creative, in tune with the times and capable of producing scientific and technical human resources,” the PM pointed out.

Stating it was necessary for the universities to making timely academic and managerial reforms for producing workforce capable of competing in the present competitive world market, he said he feels pleasure as the Far Western University has been running important courses in the short period of its inception.

Prime Minister Dahal said that the government will fully assist in managing the budget and the human resources required for running an affiliated campus in Dadeldhura and the Dadeldhura Hospital as one of the faculties of the University, recalling that an agreement to this effect had been signed between the concerned Ministry and the University in 2078 BS.

“Dream for the future. That dream is a dream of a beautiful future life of ours and yours and of a happy and prosperous Nepal. We are tested in every step for building a better family, society and ultimately the nation,” the PM said to the graduating students on the occasion.

He said although he has achieved the political achievements, he has not stopped dreaming for institutionalizing these for building a just and prosperous society.
