Youth injured in tiger attack in Kailali



DHANGADHI: One youth has been injured in a tiger attack in Dhangadhi, Kailali on Friday.

According to Tikapur Police, Pawan Auji, 27, of Tikapur-8, Sri Lanka was attacked by a tiger on Friday morning.

Auji became the victim of the tiger attack at the nearby wheat field. He has been sent to Rajapur, Bardiya for treatment.

After spotting the tiger in the Nepal-India border area quite frequently, the police have alerted the locals to remain vigilant against the possibility of a wildlife attack.
