NP recommends 40 personnel for promotion



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police (NP) has recommended names of 14 Superintendent of Police (SP) to the post of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP).

Likewise, it has also recommended the names of 26 Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to the post of SP.

The promotion committee decided to make the recommendation as per Nepal Police Regulations, 2071. According to Committee Secretary AIG Thule Rai, the committee has recommended the names of Dipak Thapa, Sandip Bhandari, Posh Raj Pokharel, Umesh Raj Joshi, Shyam Lal Gyawali, Ganesh Regmi, Ram Dutta Joshi, Tek Prasad Rai, Meera Chaudhary, Kiran Bajracharya, Buddhi Raj Gurung, Tek Bahadur Tamang, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar and Bhim Dhakal for the post of SSP.

Similarly, the committee has recommended Ramesh Thapa, Anupam Shumsher JB Rana, Ranju Sigdel, Hira Bahadur Pandey, Krishna Prasad Koirala, Shyam Krishna Adhikari, Nanti Raj Gurung, Rabindra Regmi, Govinda Adhikari, Krishna Prasain, Hem Kumar Thapa, Dr Mekha Bahadur Khatri, Binod Silwal, Bhim Bahadur Dahal, Ramesh Kumar Basnet, Prakash Ranabhat, Bimal Raj Kandel, Kamal Thapa, Janardan GC, Santosh Khadka, Dan Bahadur Malla, Shyam Kumar Mahato, Krishna Prasad Pangeni, Ajaya KC, Nawaraj Adhikari and Bir Bahadur Budhamagar have been recommended to the post of SP from DSP.
