Home Ministry recommends promotion of four DIGs

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has recommended the promotion of four Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGs) to the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police.

DIGs Sandeep Bhandari, Sudip Giri, Mira Chaudhary and Tek Bahadur Tamang have been recommended for the promotion.

DIG Bhandari is currently working in Police Head Office Operations Department, Operations Directorate; Giri at the Special Bureau, Naxal; Chaudhary at the Women, Children and Senior Citizen Services Directorate; and Tamang at the Commission for the Abuse for Investigation of Authority Police Division.

Their names will be proposed at the Council of Ministers.
