KATHMANDU: Weather conditions are expected to remain mostly cloudy across Nepal’s mountainous and hilly regions on Thursday, with light rain and snowfall likely in some areas of Koshi and Bagmati provinces.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, one or two places in the mountainous regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces may also receive rain and snowfall.
The mountainous and hilly regions are expected to remain generally cloudy, while partly cloudy conditions are forecast for the Tarai.
The Division said the monsoon trough is currently positioned around its normal location. Weather across the country is being influenced by monsoon winds, with a partial influence of westerly winds as well.
