Parties should work together to resolve economic crisis and safeguard system: Dr. Shekhar Koirala

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has remarked that the political parties should stand together to solve the economic crisis and the problems of the citizens.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives held on Sunday, Dr. Koirala said that the country has become ‘seriously ill’ because of the frustration in the industry and business to pay taxes.

Stating that the Federal Democratic Republic has been facing challenges, he urged all parties to think constructively and heed the expectations of the people rather than blaming external factors.

Dr. Koirala said that the political parties themselves are the behind the challenges in the republic and the economy; hence, the parties should be responsible and morally self-aware themselves.
