Cabinet expansion within a couple of days: DPM Shrestha

KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Narayankaji Shrestha has claimed that the Council of Ministers would be expanded within two days.

Speaking at a program organized by the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce in Lalitpur on Saturday, DPM Shrestha assured that the current uncertainty of cabinet expansion would be over very soon after the ruling coalition parties reach to a conclusion on ministerial distribution in a couple of days.

He also mentioned that the country’s economy is in a serious state and promised effective measures to resolve the economy.

The Deputy Prime Minister also assured that the government would remain in constant dialogue with industrialists and businessmen to solve the problems seen in the country’s economy.

“The state of the country’s economy is not normal now. It is serious. But we have to resolve it with positive interventions, and I assure the government will take effective measures to address the crisis the economy is facing now,” he said.
