SUDURPASCHIM: Free Student Union (FSU) election is scheduled to take place in central campus of the Mahendranagar-based Sudurpaschim University on coming April 4.

Though FSU election was earlier set for March 22, it was postponed when student organizations padlocked the election committee office.

Election Officer Toran Bhatta informed that consensus was forged among the University administration and student organizations on Monday to hold the election on April 4.

“An agreement was reached among all student organizations registered for election to hold FSU in the university central campus on April 4”, he shared.

“An agreement was reached to conduct election by giving timeline for student admission”, he further informed.

Those admitted to the campus by March 25 can participate in the voting process, Bhatta said.

As informed FSU election is taking place in 10 constituent campuses of Sudurpaschim University on March 22.
