KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said each cultural and religious festival in Nepal is unique and has highly contributed to the establishment and promotion of communal unity, harmony and goodwill.

In his message of best wishes today on the occasion of the Ladi Festival, the cultural festival of the Majhi Community today, the Prime Minister said the Majhi people who are traditionally dependent on water for livelihood possess a special identity.

“May the festival that is celebrated on the third Tuesday in the month of Fagun in the Nepali calendar inspire all of us to work for social justice, good governance and prosperity, and to promote mutual harmony and bonding,” he said.
