Lobby reporting facility to journalists



KATHMANDU: The facility of chamber and lobby reporting will be managed in the federal parliament for the journalists.

An understanding was reached to manage chamber and lobby reporting for the journalists in order to make the parliament and lawmakers accountable to the people.

Former Speaker Subash Nembang presented a proposal to manage the international practice of chamber and lobby reporting.

Similarly, another member Ramesh Lekhak stressed the need of making clear provisions regarding suspension of absconding lawmaker in the regulations.

Lawmaker Prem Suwal demanded clear provision regarding main opposition party in the regulations.
