RSP undecided about PM’s new proposal; to boycott Sunday’s Parliament meeting



KATHMANDU: The joint meeting of the Central Committee and the Parliamentary Party of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) ended inconclusively.

The leaders decided to meet again on Sunday after the meeting that concluded late Saturday night failed to decide on the party’s concrete future course of action.

The party could not take any decision on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda’s proposal to take charge of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure instead of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

However, a leader who participated in the meeting said that the meeting decided to boycott Sunday’s Parliament meeting, which will be held at 1 pm.

The RSP has 20 Members of Parliament n the House of Representatives.
