NEPSE increases nominally on Wednesday, turnover shrinks to Rs 1.76 billion



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), which fell for four days in a row, rose nominally on Wednesday. The stock market index  NEPSE increased by 4.97 points to 2,116.66 points today.

The shares of all other groups except microfinance and mutual fund increased nominally.

Although the market has increased, the transaction amount has also decreased significantly. 55,24,000 shares of 261 companies were traded for one billion 767 million rupees today.

The Nepal Bank Limited had the highest turnover of worth Rs 5 crore 93 lakh rupees today.

The share of Adarsh Microfinance increased by 10 percent and the share of Siddharth Insurance has increased by 8 percent on Wednesday.
